moving forward
an anti-racism town hall for the travel industry
Catch the overview from our first meeting in June 2020.
With over 200 attendees present, our first Moving Forward event was a huge success.
Intended to be a solutions-oriented dialogue for Black creators, allies, and brands to discuss actionable steps to foster anti-racism in the travel industry, our first Moving Forward town hall consisted of three panel discussions and a series of breakouts.
In the first two panel discussions, we talked about what challenges the travel industry is facing and what steps it needs to take to foster anti-racism now and in the long-term.
After that, we broke into breakout discussions for Black creators, non-Black creator allies, and industry to talk about our own solutions.
In our closing panel, facilitators from each breakout session presented their findings.
Below you can find recordings of the panel discussions, and (soon to come) notes and action plans so we may create an inclusive travel industry together.
